Winner!!!

And the winner is: Meg Moseley
Meg's name was chosen by a random selection (I assign comments numbers and invited my hubby-who acts like he is allergic to anything linked to the computer, to choose a number. He has no idea who recieved what number and I never have a clue as to what number he will choose. Real scientific...not.)
Meg, please leave another comment with your email address on an older post here (which will require me to authorize it.)
And Congratulations!

Your official votes put me in a predicament!

This is looking like those miscounted votes in Florida a few years back!

No, really. Torsha Baker and her 787 Word entry have received the most votes but technically it is disqualified due to the word count. Torsha also entered her kiss in a fewer word count entry that received only one comment and no votes.
That means that the prize goes to another. (I must follow my own rules.)

Honorable Mention for the Summer's Sizzling Kiss contest goes to Tiffany Page! http://tiffanypage.wordpress.com/
Tiffany will receive a $10 Amazon Gift card.

Winner of the Summer's Sizzling Kiss Contest Booby Prize goes to Britney Gulbrandsen!
http://www.britneygulbrandsen.com/
Britney will receive a copy of Dogs, Blogs and Hobbits by Valerie Steimle.

And the winner of the Summer's Sizzling Kiss Contest for Best Sizzle is Ariell. http://muddledmindtherapy.blogspot.com
Ariell will receive a $10 Amazon Gift Certificate and an e-book, Dark Days of Promise by Shaunna Gonzales when it is released on September 21, 2012.

Congratulations to all of the winners.

Sizzling Kisses and oh! This weeks winner!

We love KISSES especially first ones: A PASSIONATE LOVE: Lord Sutcliffe meets a pretty miss on a dusty country road and rescues her from her embarrassing dilemma. It must have been magic as his intention was only to steal a quick buss. Instead he is astonished to find himself involved in a passionate kiss which leaves him shaken to the core. Frances, the vicar’s daughter, should have put that impudent, frivolous lord in his place. Why she responded to his kiss the way she did, she’d never know. She knew she should not have, but the feelings were just too delicious to resist.

EXCERPT: “Probably all a dream anyway.” He shrugged and then quick as a wink reached an arm around her waist, pulled her close, and planted a firm kiss on those rosy, pouting lips.

“Do not disappear in a puff of smoke, little sprite, or turn me into a frog, will you?” he murmured as his lips descended again. No doubt he was under a spell where normal rules and customs were suspended and fairies, elves, and wood nymphs cast their magic on unsuspecting but willing passersby.

He drew a deep breath as his lips gently, then more firmly, covered hers, warm from the sun and temptingly pliable. The fiery-haired sprite’s mouth dropped open. She uttered a small squeak at the exact moment Richard’s lips settled firmly on hers. He was deep in his own imagined world with an enchantment leading him into mischief. Those seductive lips parted to give him an easy entry. Richard, certainly no slow top, slipped past her guard and gave the kiss more heat and energy than he had originally intended — with amazing results.

Magic fairy dust, indeed! The sun overhead blessed the kiss with an explosion of light as warmth spread across their shoulders.

After an infinitesimal pause, the young lady leaned toward him and responded to the touch of his lips on hers. Her eyes fluttered and closed. One arm held her basket, but the other rose in a tentative motion to clasp him by the shoulder. Had she pulled him closer?

Have we teased you competitors enough?
Congratulations to thiw weeks winner.

Here is another sizzling kiss from my contemporary SANDPIPER AFFAIR:

She felt he was asking her permission and she answered as she kissed his palm and heard a sharp intake of his breath. She leaned her head back and offered him her lips and the smooth column of her throat. He tightened his hold on her waist and with his other hand cradled her head. Pulling her firmly against him, he bent down to kiss her lightly, pulling back before she could return the kiss.

She entwined her hand in his hair and pulled his face firmly down to her lips. So soft, so different from the muscles of the hard shoulder she gripped. She could feel his hand bury in the hair at the back of her head. As her hair clip lost its grip, her hair cascaded, as slow as warm honey. His fingers threaded through her tousled curls and he rubbed them against her back and bare shoulders. Sensuous feelings raced across her skin causing her to shiver slightly. She felt him breathe deeply, almost as if he would inhale her.

"You chilly?" he asked wrapping long arms securely around her.

"No," she answered with a murmur burying her head against his shoulder. They broke apart a little. Adam leaned his forehead against hers with both hands on her bare shoulders. Their bodies met and firmed as they strained to get closer.

"Oh my," said Abby. "Are you always such a hospitable host?" Despite the tingling in her body, she couldn't help but remember the sight of him kissing Miss Chestnut and Silk at the party.

"I reserve such personal attention for very special guests only," he whispered as his fingers traced her lower lip, passed along her jaw line and paused to slide in a pattern around her ear lobe. Abby could hear the huskiness in his voice.

He leaned down to kiss her again, pulling her closer, tightening his grip against her soft form as he pulled her against his hard muscular one. She opened her mouth willingly to welcome his. His lips folded gently then firmly over hers and she felt his tongue slip hungrily inside. Oh yum, she thought, as she did a virtual float through the most heavenly soft air while gorgeous pink clouds shimmered just behind her eyelids.

Sizzlin' Saturday

Congratulations to this weeks winners: Tina Pinson has won an electronic copy of Texas Promise and Donna Weaver has won a electronic copy of Texas True.

Okay, get ready 'cause this one is smokin' HOT!
(This is probably the hottest scene I've ever posted. You are forwarned sweet readers!)

Texas Promise-Kissing Scene (Celia Yeary)

A whisper of a touch brushed his hair. He froze, knowing Jo stood behind him, caressing, and teasing. She lifted her hand again and barely brushed his bare shoulder. He heard her short breaths and smelled her scent, now more pronounced. The musky aroma from his woman floated to his nostrils. With delicate movements, she tentatively reached up to untie the thong, releasing his hair down his back. Her fingers softly moved down his hair, downward to his bare skin, and around his waist.

With a tormented groan, he grasped her hand and pivoted to face her. Wishing to understand his own feelings, he stood still, peering into her face, barely visible in the pale light. He leaned toward her and brushed her lips lightly, testing, tasting. The passion he felt was unmatched by any event in his life. The rapturous fire electrified him, burning through his skin and body, all the way to his heart and soul.

There was no holding back now. He cupped her face with his hands and took possession of her mouth with hot, open-mouthed kisses. Dalton kissed along her jaw to her ear, and he ran his wet tongue around the shell and onward to her neck. Kissing, sucking, and biting, he claimed every inch of her body.

The lovemaking began, in the manner he should have done before, so that she knew without a doubt how much he adored her.

Announcing Saturday

Congratulations to: Gina -- Touched by Mercy
and Tina Scott -- In the Manor of the Ghost
Ladies, please email shassidy@comcast.net to verify your info. And again, Congratulations!

Tina Pinson resides in Mesa, Arizona with her husband of thirty plus years, Danny.

Tina started her first novel in elementary school. Her love of writing has caused her to seek creative outlets be it writing poetry, songs, or stories.

In the Manor of the Ghost and Touched By Mercy were published through Desert Breeze Publishers.

When Shadows Fall, Shadowed Dreams, and To Catch a Shadow the first three installments of the Shadow Series about the civil war and the Oregon trail, will be available through Desert Breeze over the next year.

She is currently working on: Tamed/Changed by Mercy, sequel to Touched By Mercy that carries on the story of Allan and Samantha. The Cross of the Sultan, which takes place in modern Turkey, and deals with uncovering buried treasure. Counting Tessa, a contemporary/ futuristic fiction/time travel, is a story about gene mutation and cloning. From Hell to Eternity, is about the Civil War Prison in Andersonville, Georgia and deals with some witchcraft and mysticism. Finding Middle C is another Civil War yarn that deals with loss and finding the music of life. Portraits in Shades of Gray are three vignettes of life in the darkness moving to light in Christ.

Touched By Mercy is warm, but mainly because of some content that deals with child abuse. It is a Christian Historical Fiction novel.

In The Manor of the Ghost is sweet. It has been called a Christian Historical Gothic novel.

Coming Soon--Three books in my Shadows Series,

When Shadows Fall--June 2012,

Shadowed Dreams -- December 2012

To Catch a Shadow -- early 2013.
